I am back .............. Sharing My Table with you!

Dear Friends,

Wow!  It has been a long time since I have visited this blog!  A friend of mine reminded me today that I use to blog about Sharing My Table and that she missed it.  I didn't realize that it had been more than a year since I last wrote!  So, here I am..... sitting........ at the end of a long day....... reading some of the blogs that I had written.  Amazingly, it is my life!  Hence, I will begin to write again.  That really felt good to say!  Things have been SO VERY busy that I had forgotten how much I enjoyed this blog.  I hope that you will join me as we sit at the Table Sharing our lives!  Blessings of Peace and Rest to you and yours.

Who do you share your morning table with?

Today, I realized that everyday I share my morning table with someone!  I never realized that!  but the Lord is sitting with me, loving me, helping me, listening to me, guiding me, teaching me all over breakfast.  How blessed I am to have someone, each and every morning to share my life with.  One who listens -- really, listens!  One who loves me -- really loves me!  One who actually cares about what I care about -- He really does!  I never saw this until now, at least not in this way.  The Lord is always been there even when I didn't pay attention.  I am so grateful for His love and mercy!  I pray that you share your morning table with Him too!

Celebrating 75 years and 65 pounds!!!

This morning I shared my table with Krispy Kreme ..... it was delightful!  I so  enjoyed the sweet taste of the doughnut with the sip of Starbucks Coffee!  I really treated myself............ I do hope that I will not be sorry that I invited the Krispy Kremes to join me!  "We" really did have a GOOD time together!   At least I did!!!

So much LIFE going on..............


... But we still have to eat!  


So share your table with someone!

Last night my oldest son and his wife joined us as the Table!  It has been a long time .....  we also enjoyed a movie and each others company.  

Well, time sure flies.....................

Even though I have not had the time to blog, I have had time to share my table, mostly with my family! Thinking back over the last six months, I can say with JOY that I have Shared My Table almost every Sunday with my family! Our time has become very special and closer than ever! In the Fall we had wonderful meals of soups and stews and chili's, with loving conversations about life and love! We had First Fire out at Camp Ollie. I Shared My Table even out in the woods! What a wonderful feeling to be close to nature and God and share what we had. As the Thanksgiving season came around, I had the opportunity to Share My Table with a student from China and with a couple from our Church along with my own family. It was a time to be grateful for all that we had and to encourage each other in whatever we we going through. Lihong blessed me with a beautiful wall hanging of a Peacock -- just Beautiful!!! She fit right in with our family and came to visit us at Church a few times afterward. She left to go back to China in early January (I do hope that she will remember us and we remember her). I do hope she is doing well there. I have included some photos of these times. I hope you enjoy them. Until the next opportunity to blog.............. God Loves You!

Hi there!

It has been a LOOOONNNNG time! I have been really, really busy! Too much to tell at one sitting. I thought that I would touch base and let you know that my "Table" has been shared, and shared, and shared! Praise the Lord!

Since last September, I have shared my table with my family every Sunday for "dinner" (that is the lunch meal on Sundays). We have been blessed to be able to gather our family together almost every Sunday!

Even when we went camping, we shared the "table" with others! Such fun to share our food, our conversation, and our love with each other! Camping does bring you closer together simply because you NEED each other. We all have a specialty -- some can cook, while others build the fire, and still others share their stories and lives, and some are even the protectors/guards, if you will. So your "table" is not limited to your home.

In the next couple of days, maybe a week or so, I will be sharing some photos and stories about our family gatherings from the end of last year. I hope that you will be "sharing your table" with family and friends until then..............

I have shared my breakfast table, my lunch table, a snack table, and my supper table with those that I love. The last two weeks, I have shared the Sunday Table with ALL of the Family!!! It has been a wonderful time around the family table! We have shared our lives, our work, our desires, our problems, and our Lord! I am so glad that we have the opportunity to sit down and have time together. If you have the time and even if you don't -- make the time-- to sit with your family and enjoy a meal, talk about "stuff", share your dreams and hopes, give Thanks to our Lord for all of His Blessings on your family!
